Gustavo Alfaro At Rosario Central's Helm

With the firing of Pablo “Vitamina” Sánchez, Central went in search of a new coach... and are giving Gustavo Alfaro another chance in charge of a National A team.

His coaching career has seen him at Atlético Rafaela, Patronato de Paraná, Quilmes, Belgrano de Córdoba, Olimpo, Quilmes, San Lorenzo and Arsenal de Sarandí. Most of his success has been in gaining lesser teams promotion into the National A, though he did managed to lead Arsenal to two top 5 finishes, qualifying for the Copa Libertadores for the first time in the process.

With Central he may find a job that is beyond him. He has to turn them around or they could well be facing relegation by the end of the Clausura. There's a long way to go, and only time will tell.
