This afternoon Newell's Old Boys walked into El Cementerio de los Elefantes in second place. Normally playing Colón in Santa Fe one does not expect to win, but after taking a 2-0 lead La Lepra held on for a 2-1 victory which propelled them into first past Boca Juniors. Boca had yet to play at that time, but after they lost 2-0 at Lanus we Lepra will have at least a week in first.
I am going to leave it at that, as it is late and I need to get to bed. I have to work tomorrow, and it has been a rather rough weekend.
